The United Arab Emirates occupy a triangle of land and sea on Arabia's eastern coast. The United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Qiwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. The UAE is one of the best world winter resorts. Between November and March, it enjoys warm sunny days with an average temperature of 26c and cool nights with an avarage temperature of 15c. Dubai is located in the North-East of the United Arab Emirates. It is known as the "pearl" of the Gulf. Dubai has Sea Ports of international acclaim, and a Free Zone as wella as it plays a major role a a commercial center for the whole Gulf region. Dubai is a joyous city, not only to visit, but also to live in. Dubai's credits rise even futher because of the features of modern city life which are missing no air pollution, no traffic jams, no poverty and crime rates are negligeable. Dubai counts on the tourism to promote the emirate to the outside world. Recent great events include the World Cup for horse racing, the richest horse race in the wolrd, and the Dubai Shopping Festival, an annual event that wakes up the city t enjoy a month long of fetivities and cultutral events.
